Would You Like to Know More?
Caught the first episode of that new Starship Troopers show on the Sci-Fi Channel yesterday morn (7:30). Very promising. One o' them all-CGI type affairs. Dig that techno/industrial soundtrack man, oh yeah. Sci-Fi Channel also ran the movie Tremors a couple times over the weekend. Will I never tire of that glorious cinematic achievement?

Sucka MC's Call Me Sire
Perusing some of the search-engine keywords folks used to find Toshi Station during the month of August and thought I'd post some of the good 'uns:

bo derek
porthos
smooch
while my guitar gently weeps
peeps
desnuda
whip it good
she s got it
king of rock
popeye forearms
bottle in front of me
doulton
kniting
sakama
funions
die die baby
gemetics
silky leggs

What is the strange connection between Bo Derek and this site? Her name comes up consistently month after month. I don't get it.

Brand New Point o' View
Updated the POV page. Received many an email asking for an update exactly like this one (read: did it for the children)...

Let 'er Buck
Recently finished The Last Go Round by Ken Kesey and Ken Babbs. Highly recommended. A quick and easy to read (pit-chers too!) account of the first Pendleton Round-Up. Kesey is The Man, bubba.

Take the World in a Love Embrace
Vacation out West was indeed glorious. Sturgis was goin' down nearby and the highways were lousy with thundering hogs and biker mamas. Took in the Badlands, Devil's Tower, and Yellowstone (along with stops at attractions like WallDrug and the mighty Corn Palace).

Highlight of the trip was watching some knuckle-headed young fella come within 6" of being gored by a monstrous buffalo that wandered into our Custer State Park campsite. Considering the bison was the size of a mid-sized car, it moved surprisingly fast (as did the kid).

Racked up a total of 4k miles on the Mystery Machine in a mere nine days.

Big-badda-boom
Think I found my next set o' home theater speakers. Check this beast out (framed version here - click the "Special Products" button). Anytime tonnage is given as a spec you can count me "in". Should come with a set of hearing-aids.

Silky Smoove II
Looks like the Bro' with the 'Fro taped yet another interview whilst I was away. We'll get that posted asap...

Another Silky Smoove Groove
Your Late Night host presents Interview Number Two featuring the voluptuous Dana "X-Files" Scully. Can Ms. FBI keep her hands off our afro'ed hero? Will she be able to control herself in the presence of such incredible funky mojo that has claimed legions of ladies before her? Behold The Master work his magic over in the Lizard Lounge...

Bill's Eye in the Sky
From Dan Gorgone: "Microsoft, in their attempts to take over the world, has put together a database of snapshots of the WORLD from a couple of different satellites. Basically, you can find any place on the planet via a satellite photo." The site is called The TerrorServer or somesuch and makes for many an hour of entertaining viewing. Dan was quick to point out that Area 51 does not appear in any of the photos.

A Little Down Time
Station Management will be AFK for the next week. Camping in the Badlands and hiking about Devil's Tower. Updates upon our triumphant return.

Anchorhead Links
Updated that links section. Out with the dead, in with the new.

Lee quickly discovers that his new job at the icebox factory requires some detective work...
Recently purchased the Bruce Lee Collector's Choice Double Feature DVD that featured Fists of Fury and The Chinese Connection. Bonus material includes some of the popular Lee Philosophies (He who knows He knows not, he is a fool, shun him), movie trivia, and a slipshod biography.

This disc is simply amazing. Zero quality control. The image is grainy and jumpy, the dialogue is horribly dubbed, and check out that delayed panning and scanning. Though this collection does no justice to the unstoppable fighting/philosophizing force known as The Dragon, it does make for a highly entertaining "movie-going" experience - all for less than 10 bucks. Good stuff, my friends.

Follow the White Rabbit
You can now pre-order The Matrix DVD at 800.com for a measly $11.49 (free shipping to boot). Disc is due September 21st. Serious Bruce Lee influences throughout this flick...
