This Trooper was in the
first showcase with Princess Leia's white gown and an
interrogation droid (barely seen in the bottom right
corner -- strange that it wasn't set on a pedestal or
hanging from the ceiling at eye-level). Daven's stance is
just as odd as it looks in the picture, but the costume
looks fan-tastic. All the detail you could possibly ask
for in an unarmed Storm Trooper. Nice backdrop to boot... The next case over contained R2 and 3PO. R2 looked as fake as the Trooper looked real and even more astonishing was the wiring that separated the upper and lower halves of 3PO -- not nearly the jumble of wires I expected to behold: simply a gaggle of white lines painted on a cheesey rubber strip (a damn fine golden outfit none-the-less, freshly turtle-waxed and buffed to a high sheen). |
