Witnessed a plethora of freaks in costume: Obi-Wan, several Stormtroopers, Imperial Gunners, Queen Amidala (left), Vader (right), slave leia (same chick as last year), a huge Chewbacca, and a great home-made Cap't American type deal, to name a few.

We exited the convention with the Great Tom Savini, who, I noticed, had a large bullwhip sticking out of his backpack. Oh yeah. I need to start carryin' a bullwhip wherever I go - this is obviously how the very hip travel.
