John Hollis
is the mighty Lobot! Mr. Hollis (the bald one, not the balding one) displayed for me his incredible grip during an impromptu "Contest of Strength." Afterwards, as he was signing my Empire poster, his assistant pointed out what David Prowse had written ("Chris, I am your father") and commented on how it was too bad Mr. Hollis couldn't give me a line from the movie as well (Lobot being a card carrying member of the Bespin Society for Telepaths and having no audible dialogue). John was quick to assert that he did, in fact, have a few lines, but they were all axed. He couldn't recall what they were, but seemed rather disgruntled by the whole affair. Nice that he decided to keep the Lobot hair style. |

To the right is what the autograph lines looked like -- Peter Mayhew in the foreground there, Jeremy Bulloch two people down and John Hollis next to him. If you squint you can see Baker next to Hollis and Prowse at the very end. |
